This unit focusing on mass media and communication really sparked my interest. I was curious at first why we were reading about these topics but as the reading progressed I began to see connections to previous topics from class such as democratization. It was also interesting reading about the history of mass media and I understood it easily because I had learned the information in my history class. I found that a lot of the information was really relative to my life.
