As the class continues to discuss The Laramie Project, I find it interesting to discuss all of the
different perspectives presented in the play. There are people of religion, university
employees, gay people, straight people, and a limousine driver. I found it interesting
that certain people are trusted and their word is accepted as fact. Throughout
the trial, the limousine driver, Doc O’Connor, is interviewed and it was
interesting to me that he is a reputable source of information because he is
just a driver. However, I discovered that he was involved in many components of
the young men in the trial’s lives through drugs and possibly sex.
